Patterns, transfers and leaflets (as well as most other items), are not returnable except in case of seller error.

Buyer's Guide -- a new way to shop for patterns
We're not just another vintage pattern shop or online marketplace! The Sewing Palette features hundreds of patterns from a variety of sellers across the US. But there's no jumping from store to store, multiple shipping fees, or multiple payments.
Here are a few of the ways we make your shopping experience easy and enjoyable:
One shopping cart; one-page checkout; one payment.
It doesn't matter if the items you choose are all from the same seller, 2 different sellers or 6 different sellers:- All items go in the same cart.
- Review your order, enter shipping info, and choose your payment type on one page.
- Make one payment to Sewing Palette for your entire order and get on with your life.
- We make sure the sellers ship your purchases and get their money.
Even better, you pay one low shipping charge on your entire order (rates shown at right). Which means you can save a bundle on shipping, especially over sites where you have to pay each seller individually.
No registration or account required.
You can set up an online account to store your Wishlist, shipping information, and order history. Or not. Your choice!A wishlist that works.
You'll see an Add to Wishlist button whenever a pattern in our database is not currently available. You're automatically notified when one of your Wishlist items becomes available. (You do need an account for this feature, but you only need to provide a valid email address so we'll know who to notify.)Great sellers, product info, and support

Best Practices
Followed by all sellers at the Sewing Palette:
- Item availability: all items are listed exclusively on the Sewing Palette.
- Photos: At least one photo shows the edges of the actual pattern envelope, transfer envelope or leaflet for sale.
- Pattern checking: Used sewing patterns are checked to ensure that the correct number of pattern pieces are present. Transfers are unfolded to determine whether anything has been cut out. Leaflets are turned page by page to check for cutouts.
- Disclosures: Any water damage; tape repairs; odor treatments; significant tears; missing pieces or pages; or unusual damage to areas not shown in the photos are disclosed on the item detail page.
- Packaging: All items are shipped in waterproof packaging with a cardboard backer (unless the package is sturdy enough without a backer that it won't get bent.)
- Shipping: All items are shipped within two business days of payment (pay on Monday, your items are shipped by Wednesday evening). Saturdays, Sundays and federal holidays do not count as business days.
- Customer service: Questions are answered courteously and emails answered within one business day.
