representative transfer pattern photo   General information
  • What's on the hot iron transfer sheet:
Giving both the embroidery motifs and the cutting and seam lines: 3 pieces for an infant's dress (front, back and sleeve); 2 for the cap (crown and brim); and 1 for scalloped bib. Embroidery motifs only: center motif for dress front; 2 corners for kimono or sacque; scallop edging for hems; 1 curved neckline spray; 2 triangular . sprays for slips or gowns; 2 straight spray lengths (not shown); mottos Baby Dear, Dearest and Darling. Plus one other spray or motto (missing from our sheet and not shown on envelope).

  • Techniques used:
Basic embroidery stitches (outline, satin, lazy daisy, french knot) plus simple sewing for the dress and cap.
