Vogart/American Thread transfer pattern 104
Busy pups DOW motifs

representative transfer pattern photo   General information
  • What's on the hot iron transfer sheet:
Seven different motifs showing a pup doing the daily chore; lettering for the seven weekdays; one pup motif for an apron (larger version of the Saturday pup); plus four motifs for pot holders (rolling pin, window, hot pots sign, and hot pots lettering).

  • Techniques used:
Basic embroidery stitches (outline, satin, lazy daisy, french knot).

  • Uses and options:
Days of the week designs are traditionally used on tea towels, with matching apron and pot holders for a complete kitchen set. Consider the larger (6 inch) pup motif for clothing or a nursery decoration, and the ironing pin motif for the bib or pocket of an apron.

  • Special notes:
This transfer was also issued under the American Thread logo. The sheet has at least one trial motif, which is a simple flower spray.

  • Other descriptive terms:
    Dogs, puppies
