Buying Tips

All of the magazines we offer are original, complete, and in usable condition. Each page has been checked for missing or torn pages, cut-outs, or moisture damage.

Early magazines (1930s or before) often have damaged covers, the occasional stain or foxing, and may have some page creasing. The value of the content usually outweighs the defects.

These great old magazines are very different from their modern counterparts. Please take a quick look at our Guide to Buying Vintage Needlework Magazines if you've never purchased one of these before.
