Outside the U.S.? Please see the Special Info for International Customers section below.

Just one low cost per order...

For all orders shipped to U.S. addresses, there is a single $2.00 shipping charge. That's per order, not per item. Even if you buy every pattern we have available, your shipping charge will still be $2.00.

  Shipping via US Postal Service

Most U.S. orders are sent via first class mail (priority mail if weight is over 13 ounces). As a general rule, books ship as media mail; magazines as bound printed matter. Your order may be shipped in more than one package -- we'll let you know if that's necessary.

In a hurry?

You are always welcome to request special shipping, such two-day or overnight delivery, or by UPS or FedEx instead of the Postal Service. Please email us before ordering and we'll quote you the correct shipping rate.

Fast and secure shipping - always!

Orders go out within 2 business days after we receive your payment -- if not sooner -- and we send an email to let you know it's on the way. Your items will be packed to keep them protected from damage during shipment and safe delivery of your package is guaranteed.

We're located in western New York State, so the actual transit time may be up to a week for first class mail if you're on the west coast. We're also in the snow belt, so mail time may be a bit slower during the winter months.

Why is there a single packing peanut in my envelope?

Depending on what you order, you may open your envelope and find one lonely little styrofoam packing peanut in there. No, we're not crazy. The plastic bag and carboard backer are to keep the pattern safe. The peanut is there to make the package 3/4" thick (if it's not, the Post Office won't let us use Delivery Confirmation). It's not elegant, but it works!

Special Info for International Customers

Many of our customers are located in Canada, Europe and Australia -- we're always happy to ship to wherever you are. Because of the difference in shipping methods, orders from international customers are handled somewhat differently:

  • Effective January 2008, the shopping cart and online checkout system is available to international customers for most orders.
  • Your order will shipped via U.S. Global Priority Mail. We are not using International airmail because it takes too long for shipments to be delivered.
  • Most orders can go out in a flat rate envelope and the checkout system will automatically charge the $11.00 shipping rate. Shipping rates may be higher for exceptionally heavy or high value shipments -- we'll contact you if that's the case.
