1940s transfer transfer
McCall 1024 for pillowcases (blue transfer); © 1942.
Simple cutwork designs with stunning effect. There are two lovely floral designs, but the stand-out on this transfer is the dove (or is it a bluebird?) -- a rarely seen motif
used to beautiful effect here.
This hot-iron embroidery transfer pattern is uncut and unused.
