Finding Larger Sizes

Patterns sized for bust 40 or larger have two audiences - the woman looking for a stylish or period dress that fits, and the pattern collector looking for a great style in any size. Finding them is easier if you remember that larger-sized vintage patterns frequently are marked with the bust size, but not with a dress size, so be sure to search by bust. You'll find that many stunning styles were available in the full size range. We've gathered some of those great dress and lingerie patterns here, and you'll find a few in our specialty pages, too.
