1950s suit dress pattern

Butterick 5857 in misses size 16 (bust 34, hip 37); from 1951.

Stunning style! The wrap skirt with side front buttons is hard enough to find, never mind with a knock-out topper… Surplice top has high neckline and oblique front closure. The peplum sports 3 large buttons that continue the line of the skirt for a long, slim look.

This printed pattern has been gently used, neatly refolded, and is complete. Better than average envelope.
